Please refer to “Public Information” below. By providing such information, you are expressly and voluntarily accepting the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use and freely accepting and agreeing to our processing of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use. Supplying information to us, including any information deemed “sensitive” by applicable laws or regulations, is entirely voluntary on your part. It is up to you whether you provide this information, or whether you desire to take advantage of an incentive.
  • When you fill out a form on our Site or send us an inquiry, we collect information that helps us respond to you, and, if applicable, investigate any breach of this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use. Some of the cookies we use are associated with your account (including personally identifiable information about you, such as the email address you gave us), and other cookies are not. We also use Google Analytics cookies. These cookies are used to collect information about how you use the Site. We do not control the dissemination of these cookies and you should check the relevant third party's website for more information. You may also see embedded social or ‘share’ buttons on the Site. We may combine the above information with personally identifiable information that we have collected to make the Site and our communications to you more interesting to you, having provided, however, that we will not facilitate the merging of personally identifiable information with non-personally identifiable information previously collected from Google Analytics' display advertising features that is based on the DoubleClick cookie unless we have your prior affirmative consent to that merger.

As we are constantly seeking to improve the Site, we may introduce new features, functionalities, and services from time to time, some of which may result in the collection of new information. Furthermore, new partnerships may result in new features, functionalities, and services, and we may potentially collect new types of information.

If you click on or interact with a hyperlink or advertisement that you find on the Site, you may leave the Site or send information to a different website. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to your interactions with other websites, even if you find a link to them on the Site, and so you should read the privacy policy of the relevant third party website providers to see how your personally identifiable information will be treated on such websites.

The security and confidentiality of your information is extremely important to us and we take certain steps to safeguard personally identifiable information that you provide to us, including ensuring that only the hash digest of your confidential password is stored.

However, no method of transmitting or storing electronic data is ever completely secure, and therefore we cannot warrant or guarantee the security of your personally identifiable information shared on the Site and that such information will never be accessed, used or released by unauthorized persons.

Except for your name, email address and confidential password, any information you put on your profile and any content you share on or through the Site (including, but not limited to, your username, course ratings, course comments, course reviews, course favorites and information about the users you follow) is public and may be seen by others, having provided, however, that we may in some cases restrict access to some of this information to other registered members only (such as information about the users you follow).

We urge you to exercise caution when sharing personally identifiable information in public areas of the Site. We are not responsible for any use by third parties of information disclosed by you in public areas of the Site. Any information you share on the Site is shared at your own risk.

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the most recent version of the Privacy Policy on the Site, along with an indication of the date on which the Policy was amended most recently.

If we make any material changes in the way we collect, use, and/or share personally identifiable information that we collect about you through the Site, we will notify you by sending you an email at the last email address that you provided us or prominently posting a notice on the Site so that you may review the changes before you continue to use the Site.

If you object to any changes, you should cease to use the Site and, as applicable, disable your account. Continuing to use the Site after we publish or communicate a notice about any changes to this Privacy Policy means that you are consenting to the changes.
